Absolutely True…57th Street Children’s Book Fair

I MISSED A DAY!  Dun, Dun, DUNNNNNNNNNNNN!

What can I say?  By the time I got home last night, I just fell into bed.

57th Street Children’s Book Fair was great!  They had to move it inside because of the weather, but the crowd was still great.  Plus, I was right down the hall (we were in Ray Elementary School) from the Storytellers’ Stage–so I was basically entertained all day.

Of course, being down the hall from a stage put a hitch in my planned readings.  Too much noise in too little space, so I scrapped them.  I did, however, have a lot of good conversations, sold some books, and basically had a jolly old time.

In Chicago for another day or so.  Today, I have a couple of meetings lined up, which may lead to some interesting opportunities, so I am getting ready for that.

Perhaps, since I missed yesterday, I will post again tonight.  Well see…

Have a great day.  🙂
